What MCT,MLAG and LAG ?

  • MCT stands for Multi-Chassis Trunking, which is a technology used in networking to provide high availability and load balancing across multiple switches or chassis.

  • MLAG stands for Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation, which is a technique used in networking to combine multiple physical links between switches into a single logical link for increased bandwidth and redundancy.

  • LAG stands for Link Aggregation Group, which is a method used to combine multiple physical links between switches or devices into a single logical link to increase bandwidth and improve fault tolerance. Also known as Etherchannel.
