Would like to know what is P bit in Ospf and ShamLink?
I am sure you know the NSSA Concept that ASBR is not allowed in Stub areas and we have to convert LSA 5 to LSA7 to transfer the ASBR routes in STUB Areas.
In the options field of an LSA type 7, the P-bit (with P representing propagate) indicates whether or not the ABR should convert the LSA type 7 into an LSA type 5.
