Telnet is a protocol that enables remote access to other computers over a network by Using TCP Protocol and It is not advisable to work on Telnet For Official Work. SSH or VPN is used in real world for this tasks.

But where is the use of telnet in the real world & ssh use in the real world ??

Telnet SSH is used to take the Remote access of Network Devices like Router, Switches, Firewalls.

If you are Network Engineer you might have to check Outside India Network Devices.

Than you will telnet ssh their public Ips.
