Sir. What is default-information originate in OSPF
This command Configures OSPF to advertise the default route (0.0.0.0/0) to its neighbors, regardless if it is present in the routing table or not.
“default-information originate” will advertise a default route into the OSPF domain only if there is already a default route in the routing table. see the following example.
Since RT5 does not have the default route then it wont inject into the OSPF domain.
Now, default-information originate always will advertise a default route into the OSPF domain regardless of whether a default route exist in the router’s table or not.
