"Connectivity Issues: Unable to Telnet to Switch and Ping Management IP from PCs"

I have a Cisco router with the following configurations:

  • Interface: GigabitEthernet0/0.10
    • IP Address:
    • DHCP Pool: Configured for VLAN 10
    • Default Gateway:
  • Interface: GigabitEthernet0/0.20
    • IP Address:
    • DHCP Pool: Configured for VLAN 20
    • Default Gateway:

I’ve also set up VLANs 10 and 20 on my Layer 2 switch and configured Telnet access on the switch. While I can access the router from both PCs, I’m unable to access the switch through Telnet.

Additionally, I assigned an IP address of with a subnet mask of to the VLAN 1 interface on the switch. However, I’m facing an issue where I cannot ping this management IP from either PC.

Can you help me understand why I’m encountering these connectivity issues with the switch’s management IP?
i need to access switch though telnet from both vlan
